Mattermost versions 9.5.x <= 9.5.3, 9.6.x <= 9.6.1 and 8.1.x <= 8.1.12 fail to perform proper input validation on post actions which allows an attacker to run a playbook checklist task command as another user via creating and sharing a deceptive post action that unexpectedly runs a slash command in some arbitrary channel. > MITRE Terms of Use apply – see LICENSE‑MITRE.txt
